An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time role as Employee Relations and Wellbeing Business Partner. You will provide onsite face to face and remote advice on all matters relating to Employee Relations & Employee Wellbeing for the whole group.Reporting to the Head of ER and Wellbeing, you will work alongside business partner colleagues across London, Scotland and Bath. This role is based in London, however it has responsibility for supporting the group therefore will require regular travel to Bath and possible trips to Scotland. Role purpose: You will deliver supportive and timely Employee Relations advice and practical application of policy and Company vision to the whole business as requiredYou will be a subject matter specialist able to liaise with Executive function and senior operational management to deliver the Company strategyYou will have an understanding of the strategic function of human resources and ability to deliver commercially sound solutionsYou will have strong mentoring capabilities and ability to build trust through relationshipsProject work will include data capture, drafting monthly and annual reports, reviewing of systems and processes, cross departmental strategic planning, restructuringWorking closely with Organisational Development Business Partners to review and deliver formal Employee Relations training and coaching for the operational community and business managersYou will ensure compliance and regulatory matters are managed in accordance with legislation, ACAS Codes of Practice and interpretation of employment law and case lawProvide support and advice regarding short, medium and long-term absence to deliver on business KPIsOversee Sickness Absence case management and Occupational Health referralsProactively support and engage with the design and delivery of a range of innovative and impactful physical, mental and emotional wellbeing programmes in accordance with the Company Wellness PolicyProactively seek connections with external organisations and Apex business partners to strengthen the knowledge base within the Apex team and to provide appropriate signposting for all Employees regarding wellbeingProduce reports on occupational health, wellbeing-related data and performance metrics so that organisational performance can be measured and improvement plans embedded About you: Experience within an HR/ER related environmentGood knowledge and level of expertise of employee relations issuesProven track record in managing ER cases and providing advice and recommendations to Managers / SupervisorsGood understanding of primary wellbeing and Occupational Health issuesExperience of working in a fast-paced business environment with an understanding of the implication of a high labour turnoverExcellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills Strong decision-making skills Be proactiveStrong systems knowledge and ability to work across a number of platforms such as payroll, training and APS systems, trackers and ExcelExcellent influencing and interpersonal skills with people at all levels, internally and externally Why join Apex Hotels?We genuinely care about our guests and each other and we show this through our family values of Trust, Passion, Friendliness and Teamwork.
