Building a sustainable tomorrowWe are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team at our Camberley Head Office. This role will provide assistance to Reporting Team in the discharge of key finance deliverables and provide support as necessary to the business.Your missionYour key activities will include:Posting journals received into the journals inbox.Reconciling intercompany transactions with Royal BAM and BAM Construct.Processing payments on behalf of our Joint Operations / Joint Ventures.Producing trading reports for the Plant division.Distributing project reports.Preparing certain balance sheet reconciliations.Processing month end journals.Supporting the FP&A team with running CTC downloads.Setting up contracts on SAP.Setting up WBS codes.Maintenance of the P-card system.Raising invoices for our Joint Operations / Joint Ventures.Performing pre- and post-month end close tasks.Assisting with ONS returns.Preparing monthly intrastat returns.Who are we looking for?Your qualifications and experience should include:AAT qualified or working towards AAT qualification.Experience of basic Microsoft packages.Highly motivated, committed individual with a track record of delivering good quality finance outputs.The following experience would be desirable:Knowledge of civil engineering, construction and/or general contracting.Basic knowledge of general accounting principles.Previous experience of SAP.Previous experience of high volume transactions.What’s in it for you?We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, which includes matched pension contributions, private healthcare, 26 days holiday, 2 wellbeing days and 1 volunteering day.Continued personal, professional, technical and leadership development.Who are we?BAM Nuttall is one of Royal BAM Group’s ten operating companies.
