Join us and you will help define an approach that is second to none and at the forefront of innovation in banking and the wider fintech sector.Your days will consist of collaborating across multiple feature teams, completing detailed analysis on journey’s, features and epics that you own. You’ll help with creation and management of the product backlog, gathering requirements and refining into the development teams, actively supporting with cross team dependencies.We are Agile, so you’ll be involved in the core agile ceremonies and our 3-2-1 design cycle leading through to delivery of value adding features in addition to learning and sharing what the future holds for FinTech, Agile and Business Analysis.About YouYou’re curious by nature, you enjoy understanding how things work at a deep level, and are not afraid to challenge or ask questions when something don’t make sense to you. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are happy being accountable for the end to end outcome where roles and responsibilities are not always clear, understanding that the customer outcome is the most important factor.ResponsibilitiesDiscovery Collaborate across product, engineering and test to ensure the problem is well defined, drawing in the relevant SMEs as required. Produce supporting artefacts that help articulate the problem such as scenarios, process flows, problem statements and sequence diagrams to assist in the wider understanding of the problem. Identify relational elements of cross-team requirements, ensuring dependencies are managed. Analysis Gather functional, non-functional and technical requirements, being able to translate these into meaningful user stories that are comprehensive, considered and clear. Be proficient in splitting deliverables using a typical ‘feature-epic-story’ hierarchy. Be the champion of ‘Refinement’ and responsible for ensuring stories adhere to the 10x Definition of Ready (DoR) Identify and engage with 3rd party services that may enhance the 10x platform, working across Partnerships and Technology teams as appropriate. Delivery Use your expertise to make key decisions in delivery and answer engineering questions. Collaborate across the development team, assisting with story completion and being an ambassador of adherence to the 10x Definition of Done (DoD). Act as an advocate for product quality – ensuring no breaking changes, realistic and comprehensive test coverage and clear release notes. Facilitate and run key ceremonies as part of the development cycle such as stand-ups, sprint planning and refinement sessions. Support of the product you own - triage defects and incidents, using your knowledge of the product and expected behaviour. RequirementsIdeally you will have... Significant experience articulating business complexity in the form of business processes and requirements, and translating these into epics and user stories with acceptance criteria using BDD/TDD. Experience delivering quality in a fast-paced, complex agile delivery environment. Demonstrable experience of using plans and DRAID management to deliver to timelines. Familiarity with running core Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning and refinement sessions. Strong organisation and cross-team coordination skills to manage cross-functional deliveries, competing priorities and multiple ongoing threads of analysis Strong stakeholder management skills – demonstrating experience managing external parties, and all levels of internal stakeholders. Strong technical aptitude/affinity used to working closely with and communicating to engineers and testers. If you’ve also got experience of any of the following, we’d love to hear from you... Skills Previous experience delivering platform / API-based products - working with RESTful APIs, API documentation, and API standards. Worked in a client facing role, particularly consulting is advantageous. Experience interacting with APIs using tools such as Postman or Paw. Domain Expertise Experience working in the fraud and financial crime space, with a good working knowledge of KYC, application fraud, PEPs and Sanctions identification and management, AML practices. Good knowledge with fraud operational processes and how manual investigation takes place. Familiarity with key banking regulations such as POCA, MLR, Terrorism Act, AML Sanctions Regime.
