Reporting to the Director of Children’s Services, you will take lead operational responsibility across the whole spectrum of children’s social care from the front door and assessment to our children in care, care leavers and permanency. We are seeking someone who is ambitious for our children and young people, who will continue to build on our Think Family and Trauma Informed approaches. Continuous improvement is at the heart of what we do, promoting and developing the best outcomes for those that are vulnerable.We are seeking someone steeped in children’s social care, who understands what ‘Good’ looks like and who can support our journey to ‘Outstanding’. You will be a qualified social worker with a thorough understanding of social care delivery, and likewise be ambitious for our services and residents. Working with partners will be essential, recognising that we can not achieve the best outcomes alone.
