Teaching AssistantWe are Seeking Teaching Assistants across the Cheshire West area to support pupils in KS1/KS2Your new SchoolYou new school id a mainstream primary school praised by Ofsted for their quality teaching and support for children with special educational needs. The school has recently been rated 'Good' by Ofsted and has over 200 pupils aged 3-11. Due to increased demand, a job for a additional qualified Teaching Assistant has been created to start immediately. Your new role Your new role will be to work as a Teaching Assistant supporting pupils within the Y3 class on a 1-1 basis, you will be working with the child on a long term basis offering support in the classroom setting. In addition to this you will be working within a supportive and thriving team. Whilst the position will initially be a temporary agreement lasting three months, you could be asked to join the school on a permanent basis if you have adapted and integrated quickly. What you'll need to succeed You will need to have a minimum of 6 months experience within a primary school setting and be experienced in working with children in KS2. Your experience will also have to have been within the past 2 years. Ideally we are looking for candidates who have experience working on a 1:1 basis with pupils who have SEN difficulties but will consider applicants from a general TA background.
