Description:Programme Manager – Software / HardwareA unique opportunity for a Senior Project Manager or Programme Manager, who has experience managing projects spanning software and hardware, to work for a hugely successful and well-invested communications company who are on a large growth trajectory. This role will take ownership of an exciting new programme of projects, expanding the company’s current offering.Location – Cambridge, UKSalary – £65,000 - £80,000 per annum plus comprehensive benefitsRequirements for Programme Manager – Software / Hardware * Ideally you will hold a degree in Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or similar * Brilliant interpersonal and communication skills – this role will involve liaising with external customers, internal stakeholder management motivating internal teams * Ideally you will have a wealth of experience in programme and project management of complex technology programmes, however, Senior Project Managers ready to take the next step up will be considered. * Experience managing projects across both hardware and software, delivering on time and within budget * Given the mix of hardware and software you should be very familiar with Waterfall and Agile * Quality driven, innovative with an ability to encourage others to succeed * Willingness to travel to Europe roughly once a quarter (post-covid)Responsibilities for Programme Manager – Software / HardwareReporting to the Head of Projects you will maintain responsibility for a programme of projects covering hardware, software, field trial, test and validation, and delivery of products to manufacture.
