At Dorset Healthcare we pride ourselves on the Dementia Health services we provide to our patients and their families.Older People's Organic Mental Health inpatient Services in Poole, Dorsetare recruiting Mental Health Support Workers for St Brelades and Herm Ward to continue the quality care we offer to our patients.The role offers the post-holders to gain valuable experience and skills across the field of Dementia Health care. Our award-wining innovative services are well-resourced and developing in line with the National Dementia Strategy.In-Patient Ward services operate as Practice Development Units and are also supported by the Kings Fund and Health Education Wessex initiatives.The services have strong links with local Universities and are involved in the improvement of their portfolios of care across all the teams.We are looking for individuals who are motivated to make a real difference in dementia health. Passion and compassion are essential personal qualities for this role, along with excellent team-working, communication and assessment skills.
