Our Strategic Sales group empowers the largest advertisers around the world to reach their maximum potential through paid search and native marketing on the Microsoft Advertising platform. We are seeking top performing Solutions Sales Strategists with search, native and display advertising experience who will help us build the evolution of our advertising suite. In partnership with our field sellers, the individual in this role will help us expand the reach of our Native advertising solution, the Microsoft Audience Network, with a focus on the EMEA market. Through strategic account planning, flawless customer management and data-driven solutions, and an appetite to learn and iterate upon our sales strategy, product, UX and execution plan, we’ll grow our Audience network reach. The individual in this role will bring search knowledge, sales experience, customer obsession, a passion for innovation and best-practice sharing, and a proven track record for delivering exceptional results.
Scale and grow our Native advertising offering (Microsoft Audience Network) through a focus on client retention, expansion and win-back.
Support sales teams through the process, helping with best practices building, campaign implementation and optimization.
Share client and Sales feedback with Engineering and Product Marketing teams to iterate improvements on needed.
Bring competitive and industry insights and media sales experience to flawlessly handle objections and execute data-driven optimizations across potentially large and complex accounts.
Exceed customer expectations via responsiveness, providing insights, marketplace knowledge and resolving technical issues.
Develop collaborative relationship with account teams to drive the growth and development of mutually beneficial working relationships with existing sales and key partners to quickly respond to customer requests or escalations.
Minimum 4+ years Digital Media, Analytics or Sales/Service required
Extensive knowledge of digital media across native, display, video and ideally search advertising / Bing Ads; including some combination of Sales, Operations, Service and / or Sales Excellence.
Strong ability to analyze trends within data at an individual client level as well as scaled across a marketplace to help with short term wins, while ideating and creating for long term sustainability.
Deep understanding of the players and partners across the native ad ecosystem; third party demand-side, data management, ad-serving, verification and measurement platforms.
Deep understanding of the ad technology ecosystem required to scale premium native ad products; third party demand-side (Direct, RTB, header bidding), data management, ad-serving, verification and measurement platforms.
Passion for building, including all of the ambiguity, risk taking, failure and iteration at high rates of speed that is entailed
Demonstrated success moving from ‘start up’ to ‘scaled business’ is critical and the ability to move easily and constantly across functions (Sales, Ops, Strategy) and partner sets (BD, Finance, ENG, Sales, Business Teams)
Bachelor’s degree required.
