Description:About The Role 6 months contract, Inside IR35 This role provides business analysis capability within the Digital Customer Programme. This is a very exciting opportunity for an experienced BA who has worked within Agile delivery teams. The role will report into the Business Analyst Team, but with direct daily oversight from Infrastructure Project Managers. The mission of the Digital Customer Programme is to increase the choice our customers have in how they manage their mobility by offering a simple, convenient and inclusive Customer Account. With an account in place the attention of the programme has turned to delivering the rest of the Customer Digital roadmap introducing, amongst other things, the ability to start scheme applications away from the Dealership. We continue to add value to the Customer Account by prioritising in-line with current events and working closely with our Product Owners. The role will report into the Business Analyst Team Lead, but with direct daily oversight from a Delivery Manager and/or Project Manager Key accountabilities As a Business Analyst on this team, you will assist the Product Owners and Delivery Manager to ensure; Feature inceptions are facilitated effectively and drive a positive outcome User stories and requirements are captured, clearly documented and have the correct level of detail required to facilitate backlog prioritisation Accurate acceptance criteria are captured within user stories to ensure they can be built and tested efficiently Work towards a technical understanding of any current goal and translate these for stakeholders whilst highlighting tangible impacts and benefits Organise regular showcases of the team’s work, delivering a summarisation of the previous iteration and working with them to ensure the right work is showcased by the right people Positively contribute to all team ceremonies (e.g. stand ups, retrospectives, estimation sessions etc) Nurture and maintain relationships with multiple business stakeholders Ensure impacted business stakeholders are kept up to date with developments Coordinate & facilitate requirement gathering workshops as required Support the business stakeholders throughout the change process as required Act as a bridge between development teams and business users About You You will have gained experience as a BA using Agile delivery approaches and must have worked on at least one project that has delivered all or part of a Digital Strategy (preferably on the creation of a customer digital account). You have examples of how you have helped drive forward changes and helped influence and prioritise an ever-adapting backlog. You’ve worked closely with senior management and are comfortable challenging requirements. You will have proven experience working closely with engineers, developers and testers in an Agile environment and be proficient at writing user stories and defining non-functional requirements. We would expect you to highlight risk effectively, improve processes and contribute to all the team’s ceremonies. You can use and maintain information management systems like Jira, wikis, bug management tools and Confluence.
