Assistant Service ManagerInpatient Services Full Time (Mon-Fri) 37.5 hours per weekAn opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Service Manager (ASM) with experience of data management, process, systems and performance management to join Inpatient Services.We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, dynamic and innovative individual who is able to deal with confidential issues in a professional manner and able to work under pressure in a busy environment. The post holder will work with the Head of Site Operations, Head of Nursing, Senior Site Nurse Practitioners, Service Manager, Site Nurse Practitioners/Clinical Response team, Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response (EPRR) team and Tissue Viability acute and community teams.This role will involve designing and implementing complex administrative processes, including specific databases. The job holder will be expected to work effectively with clinicians, as well as highlighting service improvements. An ability to work well and efficiently with other agencies and individuals is essential. The job holder will be expected to be self motivated and able to use initiative within guidelines to ensure processes are in line with agreed National and local policies. The post holder is also required to support the response to Trust escalation alerts and major incidents. In such circumstances the post holder will play a key role in documenting key decisions completing loggist training in order to fulfil this role.We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is able to; Produce high quality secretarial support to clinical teams.Support the Service Manager in managing various sections of service. This will require working autonomously to understand targets, budget controls and relevant HR management.Manage the implementation and overall management of office systems, control processes and risk management arrangements to ensure effective delivery of service.Influence, motivate and involve individuals and teams within the service to achieve necessary performance targets.
