DescriptionAbout this roleGroup DescriptionThe Corporate Treasury team is responsible for managing the firm’s corporate cash management, capital management, as well as liquidity and FX risk management activities. The group also provides financial oversight on regulatory capital requirements and seed capital programs. Job DescriptionBlackRock’s central treasury is looking for an Associate in London with corporate treasury, corporate controlling or banking experiences and a demonstrated ability to learn quickly and deliver operational excellence and high-quality results in a fasted-pace, collaborative and technology-driven environment. Key areas of responsibility Contribute to the cash management operations (daily liquidity, cash flow, funding, cash investments, money market funds, payments, management of bank accounts and bank relationships), liaise with banks on day to day activitiesMonitor, forecast and report liquidity, cash flows, regulatory requirements, financial income of group companiesCoordinate and contribute to global FX operations (monitoring of exposures, FX hedging, FX gain/loss analysis), which are centralized in the UKManage and contribute to quarterly dividends and repatriations, seed investment activities, cash flow modeling, Treasury policiesOversee or contribute to ad hoc projects, financial analysis, Board reportingProactively look for opportunities to optimize Treasury processes and controls, enhance policies, reporting tools and data quality, as well as maintain operational excellenceMaintain the technology infrastructure supporting cash management operations and other Treasury activities, spearhead technology enhancements, participate or lead implementation projects, design and setup automated processes using VBAPartner with various internal teams on these activities, including Controllers, Tax, Legal, Product Management and Risk Management Skills / experience requirements Bachelor’s Degree or higher, preference for Finance or AccountingMinimum 3-7 years of treasury, controllers, banking or other relevant finance experience, with a track record of strong performancePrior experience in financial services, finance or banking operations, project management, risk management or capital market activities preferredSome knowledge of regulatory credit risk, market risk, liquidity risk and capital requirements preferred but not requiredDemonstrable problem-solving, quantitative and analytical skills, with exceptional attention to details and operational as well as analytical rigorOrganized and methodical, ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines, manage priorities and stakeholders well, learn from prior experiences and lessonsAbility to clearly articulate and present ideas both in written presentations and orallySelf-starter, quick learner, team player with collegial orientation and desire to take on responsibilityAdvanced or expert skills in Excel, VBA coding experience preferred but not required Our benefitsTo help you stay energized, engaged and inspired, we offer a wide range of benefits including a strong retirement plan, tuition reimbursement, comprehensive healthcare, support for working parents and Flexible Time Off (FTO) so you can relax, recharge and be there for the people you care about.
