A Vacancy at North Bristol NHS Trust.**Previous Applicants need not re-apply **Core Clinical Services Division has an exciting opportunity to recruit a highly motivated, dynamic and organised person to lead divisional Quality Governance and Patient Experience and Involvement.This role encompasses incident management, risk management, clinical audit and clinical effectiveness programmes, actively leading and delivering an effective, high quality clinical governance and risk management programme across the division with a strong emphasis on continuous learning.The successful candidate will use their knowledge and experience of quality, risk management, clinical governance and patient experience to support compliance with regulation & governance standards to improve standards of care and clinical practice.Working closely with the Divisional Management Team and the speciality leads, you will have full responsibility for Clinical Governance within our division, to guarantee robust governance considerations are integral to the delivery of the North Bristol NHS Trust strategic themes and ensure patient engagement at all levels.The successful candidate will ideally have experience of working at a senior level within a patient safety, patient experience or quality focused role with an in-depth knowledge and understanding of Root Cause Analysis and the management of Serious Incident investigations. The post holder will also require experience in investigating incidents, a knowledge of Datix or a similar incident reporting system and experience with the Friends and Family Test system.The successful post holder will have exceptional communication and report and letter writing skills with a positive attitude and a willingness to support speciality leads within the Division to deliver good governance.Who we're looking for a person with the following expertise:• • • Excellent understanding of Quality Clinical Governance either from a similar role or a more hands on clinical position• Experience in report and complaint writing• Experience in investigation reporting• A good working knowledge of the CQC• Leadership in a multidisciplinary environment• In leading on patient experience and involvementYou would be based in our Brunel building at Southmead Hospital, Bristol, which has won numerous awards including the Best Designed Large Hospital in the European Healthcare Awards.
