The Stores Co-ordinator shall be responsible, for all routine aspects of running and operating the stores. For the purpose of further clarity specific duties shall include the following: Responsible, for checking the availability of equipment, materials and consumables as identified on 'Mobilisation Requests' raised by the operations team or field personnel. Responsible, for raising purchase requisitions as required to resource specific projects or to maintain minimum stock levels. Responsible, for placing orders with suppliers once appropriate purchase orders have been completed in accordance with the Company purchasing procedure. Responsible,, for expediting the progress of orders and ensuring that the products once delivered are as specified. Responsible, for the completion / verification of goods receipt and despatch paperwork, manifests, etc. Responsible, for the developing and maintaining approved supplier register and corresponding database. Responsible, for the developing and maintaining appropriate stores structure and stock control system. Responsible, for the developing and maintaining certification, test and inspection programmes for all plant and equipment including updating appropriate records and registers. Particular emphasis on the following: Portable electrical appliances Breathing apparatus and respiratory protective equipment Monitors and instrumentation Slings, strops and lifting devices Responsible, for the identification of new equipment to enable updating of the Asset Register and Company database and facilitate full trace-ability when in use Administration of Hose Management System under the guidance of the Support Services Supervisor. Pre-mobilisation and de-mobilisation function tests and condition checks. Responsible, for the administration / operations teams in developing and maintaining an effective archive system where all items are catalogued and stored in an efficient, tidy and logical manner. Undertake all forms of training and development pertinent to the role, including but not restricted to HP and UHP water jetting, confined space, asbestos removal, surface preparation and painting Provide emergency driver /operator cover.
