If you were to join us as a Workshop/Preparation Supervisor, here is what you want to know. Salary £9.50 per hour Hours 5 days out of 7 on a rota. Weekend working will be required Our Preparation Supervisors are responsible for the management of the workshop operations our vehicle technician team. This role is a key role within our sites and its an opportunity for someone who has experience of working in a busy repair workshop to come in and supervising the workshop and the yard teams in the preparation and pitching of vehicles while leading and coaching a high performing team. This is a fast paced role and no day is ever the same Let us tell you a little bit about what you will be doing. Ideally you will be a Qualified Mechanic to Level 2 Co-ordinate the preparation team in carrying out pre-delivery inspections and checking in of vehicles if required ready for sale. Quality check the work of the preparation team and provide guidance and coaching where necessary to ensure work is carried out to the highest standards of quality and safety. Ensure work is allocated to individuals and productivity is maintained whilst maintaining quality. Assist the Preparation Manager in their duties related, including the ordering of parts and liaising with external contractors. Carry out PDI inspections and repair vehicles as part of the workshop team. Leading and managing a team Working at pace while being able to remain calm and maintain excellent attention to detail Ensure standard of quality is maintained at Motorpoint Standard Also you`ll live the Motorpoint values of Proud, Honest, Supportive and Happy, You’ll also be ready for some serious fun!
