Duties and responsibilities

  • Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual statements (balance sheets, cash flow and income statements)
  • Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts and statutory accounts
  • Responding to financial inquiries by gathering and interpreting data
  • Determine accounting errors or discrepancies and suggest necessary corrective action
  • Analyze current accounting systems, making suggestions for enhancements where needed
  • Liaise with external auditors
  • Assist in preparing necessary documentations for annual financial audits
  • Preparing Group wide Accounting Policies to be rolled out across the Group
  • Writing accounting memos
  • Qualifications

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting
  • Formal qualification such as ACCA,ACA
  • 3-5 years on the same position
  • Strong audit background top 4
  • Previous experience of IFRS
  • Previous experience of working for international company, passing audits to UK standard
  • An analytical mind
  • Negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships
  • Commercial and business awareness
  • Good communication skills – both written and verbal
  • A keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into data
  • Deadline-orientated and an ability to stick to time constraints
  • Working conditions

    Please note that the role is temporary, for 6 month.
