We have an exciting opportunity available in the the Early Years & School age Speech & Language Therapy team. We are a dedicated and innovative team delivering services to children and families across Bristol and South Gloucestershire at a Universal, Targeted and Specialist level.The main duties will include initial assessments and intervention sessions with pre-school children with complex needs, possibly including dysphagia and Autism. In the school setting, the post holder will be taking a lead role in dysphagia assessment and intervention for children aged 3 – 19, and manage a clinical caseload for children in the secondary and post-16 site of the school. The ideal candidate will be flexible, adaptable and a good team member.Qualified Speech & Language Therapist with experience working with both pre school and school aged children with complex needs, dysphagia and Autism, as well as holding: Recognised Royal College of Speech and language Therapists degree level qualificationLicence to practise – evidenced by HCPC registrationPost-graduate Dysphagia qualificationADOS Training ( preferred) A full driving licence with access to a car is essential to this role. This is a permanent, part time role at Band 7 for 30 hours a week.
