We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our finance team.

Essential requirements:

  • Strong Excel skills
  • Experience of Sage 200 Accounting package useful but not essential
  • Well-organised, able to deal with a variety of issues at the same time
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Expense claim processing knowledge desirable
  • Core responsibilities:

  • Maintain and Update all spreadsheets in relation to recording rent, insurance, and service charges
  • Input to the system and ensure all Landlord invoices are paid in the agreed time frame
  • Liaise with Estate Managers on rent, insurance, and service charge queries
  • Reconcile and post expenses for all Barclaycard credit cards
  • Manage and ensure all colleague expenses are sent in correctly and chase where necessary
  • Enter manual bank payments for authorisation
  • Other responsibilities including:

  • Provide supporting documentation for audits
  • Raise all back haul debits
  • Record inputting and journals for expenses and provide payroll with figures before payroll cut off.
  • Adhere to month end deadlines
  • Recharge/Allocate costs of certain invoices
