An exciting opportunity to join NHS Tayside TAYSIDE CANCER CENTRENINEWELLS HOSPITAL, DUNDEEACCESS & ASSURANCE, SPECIALIST SERVICES DIRECTORATE TWO URO-ONCOLOGY ADVANCED NURSE PRACTITIONERSBAND 7 Two exciting opportunities have arisen in the Oncology Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) Team to provide an advanced nursing service to patients with urological cancers in the Oncology department. The post holders will be members of the team that develop new Nurse/AHP led services to patients undergoing urology treatments within Tayside Cancer Centre. We are seeking highly motivated individuals with significant oncology/urology nursing experience, supported by evidence of professional development in this field and in receipt of an Advanced Nurse Practitioner qualification or willing to work towards this. These ANP’s will be responsible for a caseload of patients on treatment for Urological cancers and will have the ability to assess, authorise, tailor treatment, intervene and support patients with complex medical, emotional and psychological needs. The roles will involve a high level of autonomous working and effective teamwork and communication with a wide spectrum of multidisciplinary teams.The post holders will be responsible to the Oncology Advanced Nurse Specialist and the Senior Nurse.You must be registered on Sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub-part 2: RN2 of the NMC Register.
