Description:We have an exciting opportunity available as a Director, Project Lead at a growing biotechnology company based in Oxford. This is a fantastic role for someone who enjoys working with varied cross functions leading the project teams to deliver the programme from pre-clinical development into the clinic. Responsibilities Working with senior leadership to ensure development and delivery of the programs through preclinical development, CMC manufacture, CTA preparation and into the clinic Working with the program management team and functional leads to identify key risks and put in place mitigation and/ or contingency strategies to manage them. Communicate to senior leadership on project progress, milestone tracing and risk mitigation strategies Lead Project team meetings Accountability for overall delivery of the preclinical program and progression to the clinic. Leading research, translational, biomarker, CMC, clinical, supply chain and regulatory cross-functional interactions to progress the projects Leading the planning and preparation of the CTA and IND submission packages Requirements Experience leading cross-functional matric teams, preferably as a project or program lead Experience designing and executing preclinical, translational and/or clinical pharmacology studies Experience in the rare disease space or advanced therapies would be ideal but not necessarily required Experience liaising with CMC, regulatory, translational research and clinical functions (not all required) By clicking “apply” you will be sending your CV to Simon Trebilcock at Barrington James.
