Reporting to the General Manager, you will lead projects in improving, developing and implementing strategic developments in Mental Health for NHS Borders. You will also be expected to deliver business support and delivery to the Mental Health Senior Management Team and be a key part of developing business plans and reports to ensure compliance with local and national targets. We are looking for an individual who can demonstrate experience of financial and project management as well as ability in engaging service users. You will have experience of working with teams and supervising staff, with an ability to set clear and measurable objectives. You will also require to have in-depth knowledge of the local and national Mental Health Agenda as well as current policy drivers in Mental Health Services. Applicants must be able to demonstrate a real commitment to working across all relevant aspects of the service, showing an ability to enthuse, motivate and give commitment to meeting exacting deadlines. Previous experience of Project management is essential along with evidence of excellent personal,organisationaland communication skills. Full, current driving licence and use of car for work purposes is essential. This is a fixed term position for 10 months.
