Applicants are expected to have good practical experience in one or more of these subject areas.Depending on experience, applicants will teach across a variety of different areas, and will be expected to teach at both Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels from level Foundation Year to level Masters.For Lecturer Grade and above you will be expected to:develop own teaching materials;manage learner cohorts;teach as a member of the Digital Transformation team in a variety of settings;ensure the efficient delivery of teaching programmes in accordance with the University’s strategy, policy and procedures;set and mark assessments and provide constructive feedback to students;seek ways of improving performance by reflecting on teaching design and delivery and obtaining and analysing feedback;collaborate with colleagues in the Digital Transformation team to conduct high quality applied research leading to publications in reputable journals and conference proceedings;develop external partnerships to support bid writing for research practical skills in industry through the delivery of training and consultancy;What you needExperience of application development in an industry context You will be expected to have a PhD or nearing completion i.e. viva pending, or equivalent qualification. Applicants who have a Masters qualification and extensive practice experience at managerial level will also be considered.
