Performance Areas: Participate within the EMEA IT Operations team covering L2 and L3 support for end-users and infrastructureProvide support for EMEA desktop and infrastructure services, escalating where necessary and with emphasis on the UKSupport of the UK HPC and development environments including hardware, OS and application troubleshootingAdministration and maintenance of physical and virtual server and storge environmentsDiagnosis & repair of hardware, software and cloud service issues for endpoints and serversPurchasing, provisioning and preparation of hardware, software & accounts for users, including asset management and new user inductionsAdminister and support security & risk mitigation technologies (AV/Antimalware, cloud backup, VPN etc.)Manage and support the onsite and mobile training environments and meeting room A/VAdminister and provision IP telephony servicesPatching and application automation for all UK endpointsImplement and monitor corporate security policiesBecome involved in the design and implementation of system improvements and new systems, including staying in touch with industry best practices and upcoming technologies.)
