ABOUT THE ROLEIntertek Pharma Services Manchester (IPSM) has an extensive range of analytical instrumentation and provides analytical services to customers in the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, personal care and speciality chemical sectors in a GLP, GCP and GMP regulated laboratory. As a Scientist you will:•Utilise your skillset and knowledge (in all practical aspects of one or more Biological Characterisation techniques (Biophysical and Chromatography) such as AUC (Analytical Ultra-centrifuge), DLS (Dynamic Light Scattering), HPLC (Size Exclusion, Reversed Phase, Ion Exchange, Hydrophilic interaction), Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) and Amino Acid Analysis (AAA) to act as an independent member of the team. •Act as a lead investigator working across a vast array of projects which will range in scale, scope and timeline. •Accountability for becoming a technical reviewer and support with method validation, method optimisation and method development with some guidance •Working as an established member of the business providing guidance and support to more junior members of the team and passing on your knowledge and experience.The role is a permanent full-time role based at Hexagon Tower, Blackley, North Manchester where the site offers a variety of on-site amenities including a gym and restaurant.
