Your new job as a Corporate Commercial Account Handler will be working for a Global Lloyd’s Broker who are leading specialists within the London market with their branch network which covers more than 70 locations, offering local service backed by national specialist practices. Your new role
Working as an Commercial Account Handler Account Broker based within the Mid Corporate Division you will be responsible for looking after your own portfolio of clients from inception to completion dealing with client income £100,00 or higher. In addition you will obtain renewal terms for existing customers and identify potential alternative quotations. Other duties will include assisting with renewal process including the preparation of submissions and the gathering of information, dealing with Insurer queries, confirming cover, process policies and chase up outstanding documentation as and when required. Follow up on new and existing renewal business quotations and lend support to Brokers. Other responsibilities include the preparation of all technical documentation and supporting accounts by preparing documentation for clients in relation to their insurance requirements in partnership with the Account Managers/Executives.
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience working as a Commercial or Corporate Client Account Handler within a Lloyd's Broker or National Insurance Broker will contribute to your success. You will have experience of dealing with income £10,000 or higher or premiums above £50,000 to £250,000 and be confident in your ability to provide a service to clients from inception to completion. You will have experience producing technical documentation to include MRC slips. You will be extremely computer literate and competent in using Microsoft Office software . You will have undertaken progression towards professional qualifications, Preferably Dip CII qualified if not Cert CII and had a solid work history
