Logistics Coordinator (BB-F20CE)

Our supply chain team at our brand new site in Havant has a vacancy for an experienced Logistics Coordinator. You will have a good level of knowledge of import | export procedures |including Export Licences| and international trade regulations and processes. You will have keen interest in continuously updating your knowledge and working within Sartorius’ established processes. In addition, you will collaborate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders and contribute to the success of our team.

What you will accomplish together with us:

  • Processing documents related to freight forwarding such as customs clearance instructions, invoices for payments of duty, etc.
  • Liaising with freight forwarders and managing a database of agreements
  • Communicating with internal and external customers
  • Monitoring and collecting shipment statistics for in and outbound flows of materials, parts and goods
  • Co-ordinate warehouse activities to ensure inbound and outbound lead time are accurate and managed efficiently
  • Managing export | import documentation and communicating with customs and related authorities
  • Supporting internal teams such as Order Handling, Logistics, Procurement etc. for transport-related questions
  • Assisting with all transactional related queries and amending errors when necessary
  • Implementing new processes or process changes to improve business efficiency
  • Efficiently managing daily workload
  • What will convince us:

  • Excellent understanding of ERP systems; SAP is preferred
  • Previous experience of working in distribution, logistics and | or export and import
  • Working knowledge of compliance and legal framework and regulations from a logistical perspective
  • Strong experience in using Excel
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Highly analytical and organised
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Able to work on own initiative and work effectively as part of a busy team
  • In order to commence working with us, the successful candidate will need the right to work in the UK.
