JOB PURPOSE
A fantastic commercially focused finance analyst position has arisen within the Jigsaw finance team. This position will afford the successful candidate invaluable experience in a true Omni-channel retailer with a strong focus on driving the financial reporting of the online business and the restructured fantastic store portfolio.
The position is primarily responsible for supporting the Senior Commercial Finance Manager with the coordination of Financial Planning, Commercial Reporting and Insight across the group.
Jigsaw is a mid-sized business and you will therefore have multiple stakeholders that you will deal with on a day to day basis and also build a very close relationship with the Finance Director.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Overseeing the production of the Periodic Management Accounts and Bank Pack reporting into the Senior
Commercial Finance Manager. Specifically, a detailed understanding of the variances to budget
Own Daily, Weekly and Monthly Sales, Gross Margin and KPI reporting for all Channels (online, concessions and Retail estate)
Support the Senior Commercial finance manager on annual budgets, forecasts and the 3YP
Supporting the Senior Commercial Finance Manager and business partnering with the Senior Stakeholders with commercial analysis and reporting, including;
Part of the periodic management accounts process, including posting key journals, ensuring accurate accruals and balance sheet reconciliations
Owner of Business Intelligence Reporting (Targit and NAV), building and developing new insightful reports
Supporting Senior Commercial finance manager on other commercial finance initiatives to increase sales, margin and to control the cost base
Support the Senior Commercial finance manager with the Strategic 3 Year Planning process and integrated model

Ensuring all invoices are processed in a timely and accurate manner
Making sure all supplier payments are made in accordance with the terms where possible
Communications with Warehouse and buyers is fast enough when dealing with short shipments and non-deliveries
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Essential
Graduate from high quality institution
Strong excel skills, systems literacy
Would suit either a finalist or newly qualified CIMA/ACA/ACCA
Desirable
Passionate about retail (experience) would be highly desirable
Microsoft Navision/Dynamics Experience (strongly desirable)
Targit Business Intelligence (BI)
Worked in a multisite, omnichannel environment
