About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced candidate to work in our Sustainable Asset Management team. This opportunity will give you the chance to further your career whilst engaging on some of the biggest challenges in the sector around climate change, zero carbon transitions, health and wellbeing and technology change.

Our successful team works for many of the leading asset managers in the UK, holding tens of thousands of buildings and other assets. We are trusted partners, helping them on their sustainability goals from compliance to their long-term zero carbon strategies and climate change preparedness. Our clients are some of the most respected investment funds in the UK, and our work for them extends into Europe and even globally. Examples of work include energy performance certificates, health and wellbeing analyses, long-term net zero strategies and bespoke investment support.

As a senior person in the team you will have overall responsibility for winning work, leading and delivering projects, ensuring the quality of work, exceeding our clients’ expectations and developing new relationships. As the team manager you will drive the financial performance of the team, exceeding budget and developing new areas of opportunity. You will have experience leading people, achieving budgets and working with or in the asset management sector, particularly buildings.

This area is fast-moving which means it will be important for you to be engaged with the sector, understand policy and regulations. It is likely you will be representing us on forums and organisations in this area.

A typical week would include:

  • Strategic Sustainability Consultancy for our investment clients
  • Health and Wellbeing / Productivity
  • Energy Audits and Energy Performance Certificates
  • Renewable energy analysis
  • Undertaking feasibility studies
  • Responsibility for meeting budget
  • Team management and growth
  • Enabling clients to be “future ready”
  • We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • Experience in financial and people management
  • Experience in client and partner relationships, being responsible for client satisfaction, timely delivery, project financial management and high-quality technical outputs
  • An understanding of the demands in the sustainability and energy area of the property sector
  • An understanding of the commercial aspects of investment in this area would be beneficial.
  • An understanding of the wider context of sustainability policy and regulation
  • People skills and skills in coaching and collaborations cross-functionally
  • Personable and a ‘can do’ attitude
