We are looking for an experienced and qualified Registered Manager to undertake the role of Registered Manager with a 5 bedded child care home which is for children aged 12 – 16 years on referral with EBD and complex needs.

As a Registered child care residential home Manager you will:

Report to the Service Manager and Executive Director and line manage the Deputy Manager, Senior Therapeutic Carers and Therapeutic Carers and Childcare Workers as well as other team members

Effectively and appropriately manage, lead, monitor, and develop the Therapeutic Children’s Home

Comply with current legislation, regulation and guidance relating to the provision of social care for children and young people, and education and learning in an Independent School

Take overall responsibility for the health and safety of all adults and children working and living in the home, and contracted workers and visitors

Ensure positive links are maintained and improved between the home and external agencies and professionals as well as members of the wider community and public in general

You’ll need to be an experienced and qualified Registered Manager, qualified to level 5 or nearly completed and with specific experience in a residential child care home in a leadership role such as Deputy or Registered Manager.

You’ll need a good knowledge of the regulations and inspections within the sector and a good track record in Ofsted inspections. Experience of Therapeutic child care is a distinct bonus.

This is a full time role working a 40 hour week plus on call and the salary is up to £43K based on your qualifications and relevant experience.
