An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our successful and friendly team at EF Manchester as Student Services Manager: Accommodation Lead. This is a full time role, working as part of the school management team to deliver on the ambitions and targets of the school as a whole, and with a particular responsibility for accommodation - including host family recruitment, support and management, and liaison with our external student residence providers.

  • Main responsibilities include managing the general accommodation function, including recruiting and training staff. Allocating students to accommodation following EF's golden rules, managing the experience of in-destination students including dealing with complaints and concerns and liaising with accommodation providers as required. The role holder will be responsible for recruiting and selecting appropriate homestay accommodation and working towards weekly, monthly and long term goals. They will be responsible for the relationship between EF Manchester and our residence suppliers, managing occupancy target compliance and resolving issues, and for recruiting and managing Residence Assistants. They will also be a part of the wider Student Services Team, including managing student records, delivering a high-quality in-school student experience and contributing to regulatory and legal compliance and the achievement of our customer service targets. This role will also involve being part of the school Emergency on-call team.
