About the Role

Do you have experience in instructional design and the innovative use of educational technologies? Are you looking for a new and exciting role where you can help shape the future of education at Queen Mary?

At Queen Mary we are working to develop a new flexible, blended teaching and learning approach which will deliver a mix of online and on-campus education. This is an opportunity for you to join a new team which will play a pivotal role in delivering our new approach.

You’ll be supporting our staff to deliver sector-leading blended teaching and learning, supporting and encouraging a culture of exploration and innovation in pedagogy.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a new team within the Queen Mary Academy, designing and delivering new bold and engaging blended content for a range of audiences.

About You

You will be knowledgeable about effective instructional and curriculum design, with an understanding of the principles, theory and practice of technology-enhanced learning. You’ll also have expertise in the innovative use of a range of educational technologies, including one or more of the following - mixed reality, virtual labs, learning analytics and digitally enhanced assessment and feedback.

The Queen Mary Academy is a new, flagship department which delivers a comprehensive academic practice development portfolio for our staff and research students, enabling the delivery of an inclusive educational environment where students and staff flourish and reach their true potential.

The post is based at the Mile End Campus in London. It is full time, permanent appointment. The starting salary will be Grade 6, in the range of £47,325 - £52,833 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
