Wellbeing Support Staff Grimsby

In conjunction with one of our partner SEN schools in the Grimsby area, Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a new member of staff to work closely alongside this schools’ students. The school are very big on the safety and health of their students hence they are recruiting with these issues in mind. The age of the students may vary from KS1 to KS4 This role is of particular importance currently, as students continue to adjust to life back at school in what can be extremely challenging times for many of them; it is vital they are given the right support in order to adequately adapt back to school life.

The role involves:

  • Helping to assist students with any emotional or educational needs they may have
  • Helping Teaching staff to carry out the lesson plan
  • Assist the class teacher in creating and maintaining a purposeful, orderly and supportive learning environment.
  • Promote the inclusion of all pupils, ensuring they have equal opportunities to learn and develop.
  • Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school.
  • The successful candidate must:

  • Be nurturing and enthusiastic
  • Have experience working with children or SEN
  • Be enthusiastic and positive
  • Be resilient
  • Be confident working with challenging behaviour

The role is temporary however there is scope to move into a permanent role in time. The work would commence from the first day after the Easter break.
