Job Title: Compliance Trainer
Reports to: Compliance Manager
Basic Salary: £30,000 per annum
Hours: 40 per week
Location: Bournemouth

This newly appointed position will require someone who has a strong work ethic, is able to be pragmatic and work on their own initiative, together with a strong desire to support the business.
You will ensure that areas identified for improvement are reviewed with appropriate advice and guidance on potential resolution offered
Within this role you’ll need to have a positive, progressive approach to work in order to inspire other team members and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fulfilment of the network T&C scheme in the transition period to becoming directly authorised, to include appropriate monitoring of agents within spans in line with network risk rating
- Review agent KPI data within T&C one to one, producing supporting T&D plans addressing knowledge and skill development areas.
- Support roll out of competence framework in readiness for becoming Directly Authorised
- Following becoming directly authorised, provide supervision and coaching to supervisors within the business; and agents in the early stages of their competence journey
- Support compliance monitoring reporting
Key Requirements:
- Proven training and coaching abilities – able to recognise, coach and support development areas on an individual needs basis
- Lead by example – able to create vision, motivate and inspires others to achieve
- Strong compliance experience working in a regulatory role
- Knowledge of FCA handbook, financial crime and competence monitoring
- Attention to detail and accuracy of work
- Ability to manage workload to ensure targets and timescales are met
- Able to show initiative and make appropriate business led decisions
- Professional attitude - articulate, organised and customer focused
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
