About The Role

Can you help to inform business strategy as well as sales and marketing planning? We'd like to use your expertise in customer insights, competitor analysis and research methodology to support the sales and marketing teams to respond dynamically to Sunbelt Rentals’ changing market opportunities. This new Insights Manager role will lead the best practice analysis and reporting that supports the business understanding of customer behaviour and sector trends; delivering target market recommendations based on data intelligence. You will build and strengthen the insights function within the business. You'll be working across numerous teams including Marketing, Sales, Business Development and Digital and have access to a wealth of data.

This role covers our National business, regular travel and some overnight stays may be required.

Key Responsibilities;

Provide proactive insight services into existing and future market segments

Define and frame customer segmentation, customer profiling and deliver Go to Market recommendations

Drive an insights-led approach to Brand, Marketing, Digital and Communications strategy

Support the evolving needs of the Sunbelt Rentals business units mining trend reports, customer data and primary & secondary research

Support the team to build and deliver marketing & sales funnel measurement, MROI and campaign metrics

About You

To be successful in this role you will likely be in a similar position or have relevant transferable experience. A history of working in a B2B environment is preferable.

The Ideal candidate will have the following;

Experience in handling multiple data sources and analytics platforms

Proven marketing data knowledge with experience in defining strategy

Exceptional problem solving skills with the ability to define, research and provide data driven solutions

Strong written and visual communication skills with the knowledge to synthesise complex data into easy to digest actionable insights

Excellent project management skills, comfortable managing multiple tasks and stakeholders

Hands-on design software experience
