About The Role An opportunity has arisen for a planner within the generic supply chain team, responsible for replenishing products from a nominated group of suppliers.The role requires an ability to react quickly in a fast paced environment, good organisational skills and attention to detail.

The purpose of the role is to manage the demand, forecast profiles and supply of a product portfolio, optimise availability and inventory value, working to personal and commodity service level KPI’s and stock investment.

Alongside managing day to day replenishment you will plan for and manage seasonal demand and events such as Christmas, monitor forecast accuracy and implement timely solutions to any disruption in supply. You will build and maintain relationships with suppliers and manufacturers to achieve delivery targets and resolve supply issues. You will deal with queries from and provide information to other areas of the business as required. This role is key to ensuring consistent availability and excellent service to our customers. About You

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:

  • Previous experience within a high SKU Supply Chain environment would be an advantage
  • Understanding of Sales Forecasting and principles of Stock Management are desirable
  • Pharmaceuticals background desirable
  • Suits an individual who is analytical, organised, structured, self motivated, tenacious and a team player
  • Problem Solving
  • PC skills – good knowledge of Excel essential, good working knowledge of warehouse and replenishment systems desirable.
  • The candidate will be flexible and able to react to change quickly and effectively, with good analytical skills and excellent communication skills. About The Company
