Business based in Bristol but this can be completely working from home for 6 months Your new role You will be required to provide support the payroll manager in setting up a new overpayment recovery process, both the tracking new cases and ensuring that current cases are either repaid or a repayment plan is agreed and then updating both payroll and HMRC records. In addition, providing support to the payroll manager and payroll supervisor in dealing with escalated pay queries.
Work with the payroll manager in setting up a new overpayment recovery process
Assist the team in ensuring all processing is completed by the payroll deadlines.
Provide reports as requested to the management teams
Assist with any payroll system changes or process changes
Dealing with internal and external queries from employees, finance, HMRC etc.
Updating of payroll records.
To carry out various ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Payroll Supervisor and Manager.
To answer and resolve pay queries including, tax queries and statutory queries from internal and external parties
What you'll need to succeed Work Experience
Minimum 2 years’ payroll experience on a large payroll
Comprehensive computer skills
Proficient use of Microsoft Office tools including MS Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook and others
Ability to use Excel’s advanced analytical tools such as run charts, histograms, etc, preferred
UK Tax knowledge
