The role

We’re looking for an ambassador for Cera , someone who can raise our organisations’ profile and reputation for providing exceptional care. This opportunity is for someone to act as a critical liaison to our Product, UX Design & Research and Technical teams. We’re looking for someone to Improve outcomes for people who use and work for the service. Champion person-centred care and demonstrate treating people as individuals, respecting their decisions and choices. You’ll be supporting the triage of emerging issues with our technical products. You’ll also be ensuring a high-quality and detailed reporting of issues to enable quicker resolution of any issues, and ensuring Service Users are at the heart of the care delivery.

Responsibilities not limited to:

  • Building close working relationships with the Product, UX Design & Research and Technical teams.
  • Ensuring the needs of branch colleagues and professional carers are considered at every step of the process as we build new products and features.
  • Enabling positive impacts to the delivery of care through technology, by providing direct requirements and feedback on new products and features.
  • Participating personally in 1:1 stakeholder interviews and focus groups that support the co-creation of products and features.
  • Working with Product and UX Research teams to schedule time with branch colleagues and professional carers to contribute to the above sessions.
  • Collating feedback from branch colleagues and carers about new products and features after they have launched.
  • Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of the individuals we support
  • What we’re looking for

  • Experience ensuring Health & Safety policies and procedures are adhered to all times and issues addressed to provide a safe environment - Strong knowledge and adherence to the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014 are required.
  • Ideally RQF Diploma level 3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards completion.
  • Support, coach, mentor, develop and sustain a professional, skilled and motivated team.
  • Collaborate with the training team to ensure all care staff receive and maintain up to date relevant training to deliver safe and effective care.
  • Contribute to the provision of a programme of training and development to meet the needs of the staff team and the requirements of Cera, including the ongoing evaluation of the training programme
  • Someone to oversee the implementation and adherence of Cera policies and procedures. - some experience with this will be highly desirable
  • Own responsibility for the development of the staff rota to comply with requirements in terms of numbers and skill mix whilst adhering to a conducive home/work life balance
  • Maintain the operations of Cera at the standard agreed with the Branch Manager, Regional Director and Quality & Compliance team, within the financial budget or other parameters set.
