The Candidate / Position As the ideal candidate, you will be a qualified RGN / ODP qualified practitioner with strong knowledge and experience in scrub or endoscopy. You will be working to support and assess the patients’ health and well-being across a varied caseload. You will be work closely with Surgeons, setting up for cases and assisting in the day to day running of theatres.. Theatres normally run from 7:30 am so shift patterns will be from 7:30am – 5:30pm – 4 days per week for a full-time position however, there is a degree of flexibility as needed. Newly qualified practitioners would be considered due to the strong culture of education and development at this hospital Minimum Requirements – Registered Theatre Practitioner with NMC/HCPC registration – Good interpersonal and communication skills – Passion for high quality patient safety and care Salary & Benefits This position is paying up to £33,000 per annum – dependent upon skills and qualifications + generous enhancements for unsocial hours and on-call Benefits include: – 33 days annual leave inc bank holidays which increase with service – Ongoing training and development including Advanced Life Support and Surgical First Assistant etc. – Range of surgeries including – Large plastics, urology, gynaecology, orthopaedics, robotics and ophthalmics – Contributory Pension scheme – Free Parking – Subsidised staff restaurant, retail discounts and childcare vouchers How to Apply
