Your new organisation is a well-established accountancy firm in South West London
Your new role
Your new role will be supporting a small team within an accountancy practice with the following responsibilities:
  • Copy typing
  • Audio typing
  • Answering telephone calls, taking messages or transferring calls to appropriate individuals
  • Meeting and greeting visitors
  • Dealing with all post and parcels received
  • Ordering stationery/cleaning supplies and all other equipment required
  • Arranging parcels and letters for posting
  • Dealing with petty cash
  • Keeping track of meetings in the diary
  • Updating contact information of clients
  • Occasional travel arrangements and booking taxis
  • Producing invoices and statements
  • Liaising with all suppliers/contractors regarding any issues or maintenance work required within the office
  • Liaising with tenants of partner’s properties
  • Filing confirmation statements for clients with Companies House
  • Entering timesheets for staff
  • Organising annual Christmas event
  • General administrative duties
  • Debtor chasing emails
  • Producing bound accounts for clients
  • Sending correspondence to HMRC for new clients
  • Basic accounting duties

  • What you'll need to succeed
    You must have the following skills and abilities:
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office
  • Typing speed of 60wpm+
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Previous experience in a secretarial or personal assistant role
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise work and manage time effectively

  • This role will be based in the office, with no remote working options.
    Hours are Monday - Friday, 9 - 5.30pm
