What is the role?
Reporting to the Head of Construction Productsand working closely with the global sales and ideas & innovation teams,your key responsibility will be to lead projects to develop new and improvedproducts in line with customer and new market opportunities.
You will define and execute the strategy formultiple product portfolios in the construction sector and develop and presentbusiness cases, development briefs and commercial propositions for yourportfolios. Other key responsibilities will include:
Full lifecycle, cradle to grave management ofall existing and new products within your product portfolios
Acting as the voice of the customer within thebusiness both commercially and technically, understanding and interpretingcustomer needs, particularly throughout new product development projects
Continuously gathering market intelligence tounderstand shifts in customer behaviours and knowledge of competitor activity
Development of innovative newproducts/solutions and associated commercial launch plans
Analysis of data to monitor existing productperformance and devise strategies to drive growth or rationalisation
Managing key stakeholder relationships bothinternal (sales, R&D and operations) as well as external (customers, suppliers,industry bodies etc.)
Global travel incl. working closely with keyregional sales/technical teams and external partners to develop the growth ofthe portfolio

Experience of working in the constructionindustry, within any phase of construction (desirable)
Experience of industrial product managementincluding new product development
Numerical dexterity with proven financial andcommercial acumen
Excellent communication skills, both oral andwritten
The right to live and work in the UK with avalid passport to enable world-wide travel & full driving licence
