Through school, employer, community and higher and further education partnerships, the Cardiff Commitment raises aspirations and delivers ambition, opportunities and skills which will encourage and support Cardiff children and young people to fulfil their potential and contribute to the economic growth of our capital city.
About the job
The Cardiff Commitment has a diverse programme of activity across the council and in response to the covid-19 pandemic, the Council has developed ambitious proposals to provide a Post 16 Platform - a digital space in which all support, provision and opportunities for young people can be hosted.
The post holder will be responsible for developing the Council’s approach to the platform and establishing the project scope, designing and delivering the solution and managing content as well as mapping growth sector pathways across the city
What We Are Looking For From You
We are looking for someone with experience of developing digital platforms and who is able to demonstrate an understanding of post 16 provision and opportunities, and brokerage and support available for young people 16-24 years.
You will understand how to cultivate strong relationships with internal and external organisations who deliver services to young people and understand the challenges and barriers to progression for vulnerable and at risk groups.
You will have good communication, marketing and IT skills and the ability to work well with others.
