This is an exciting opportunity to take County Upper School into its next era after an exceptional period of providing outstanding education. We are looking to appoint two Deputy Headteachers responsible for either curriculum or pastoral, to support a newly appointed (September 2021) Headteacher of Bury St Edmunds Upper School.
We are inviting candidates who have the skills and experience to build on established success and support staff, as they contribute and influence the school’s development. We want solutions-driven, proactive and highly influential and effective leaders who are committed to whole school improvement.
This is an opportunity to be part of a newly developed senior leadership team to help shape the future of County Upper School.
Since July 2020, the school has been part of Unity Schools Partnership, a trust committed to personal growth and career development. The trust is a values’ driven organisation which is committed to developing young people as successful learners, confident individuals and responsible citizens. If you are ambitious and keen to work in a family of schools committed to these values, please consider applying for the posts of Deputy Headteacher at Bury St Edmunds County Upper School.
Bury St Edmunds County Upper School is a co-educational academy school based in Suffolk for students aged 13-18 and puts great emphasis on rigorous academic teaching, underpinned by a strong pastoral system which provides a caring, disciplined and structured environment in which to work.
Your experience and skills should reflect the area of responsibility you are applying for, so please can you make this clear on your application form.
