You will be joining a well-established consultancy business as a Finance Assistant in a large finance team of 30. This opportunity will provide you with a fantastic chance to learn and develop your existing skillset in addition to taking on new responsibilities with the help and expertise of your experienced colleagues.
Your new role
As a Finance Assistant, you will be responsible for the accounts payable process including processing invoices, making payments via cheque/BACS/CHAPS, reviewing client and employee bills, reconciling bank statements for different entities in multiple currencies and organising weekly payment runs. Over time, you will gain exposure to a range of month-end duties (including accruals, prepayments and journal postings).
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role, you will need at least six months experience working in a similar role (ideally in a Consultancy or Professional Services environment) and have experience processing invoices and dealing with bank reconciliations (multi-currency). You will be a proactive, hard-working and motivated individual who strives to succeed in everything they do. You will also have an excellent working knowledge of the Microsoft Office package. To be considered for this role, you will need to be studying towards a professional accounting qualification (AAT/ACCA/CIMA).

In return, you will receive a salary of up to £30,000 (depending on experience), with regular salary reviews taking place to remain in line with market rate.
