Is a well-known locally based Charity who are recognised for the work they do in International Development. As a result of continued success they have appointed Hays to recruit an Administration Officer to join their Fundraising team. Hours of work will be Mon to Fri 9am to 5pm however, some flexibility will be required in line with business needs.
Your new role
As Administration Officer you will report directly to the Fundraising Manager and provide Administration support to the team. You will be the main point of contact for customer enquiries both verbal and written. Key responsibilities will include managing the CRM system where you will update customer details accurately and efficiently, support customers with online purchases, web donations and PayPal processes. Provide support to the fundraising team for campaigns, updating social media platforms and sending out mailers etc. You will also be responsible for managing all stationery and office supplies, postal duties and providing Reception cover as required.
What you'll need to succeed
As Administration Officer it is essential that you can demonstrate solid experience within a busy office environment. You will have 5 GCSE's or equivalent at grade C or above. You must be proficient in Excel, Mailchimp and email management. An excellent communicator who is organised, can work to deadlines, prioritise tasks and use initiative.
