An experienced Warehouse Team Leader is required for a large and international Global Logistics Supplier in Kent. This is a Night Shift role, Sunday to Thursday (flexible - depending on business needs). You will be a motivated and experienced Team Leader that will oversee the running of the night shift. Previous experience within the Warehouse environment is essential and will be reporting to the Warehouse supervisor. A background from the Food Manufacturing industry would be a big advantage. The Key Accountabilities: Warehouse: * Working with Warehouse Supervisor to support Warehouse records and ensure necessary checks are completed * Operate Counterbalance and Reach Truck when needed * Working with Warehouse Supervisor to support and drive training in the warehouse * Ensure Goods-in procedure is adhered to and all checks are in place * Organisation of collection/delivery slots * Complete daily requirements including - Daily dispatch, incoming goods, finished goods preparation & production picking. * Liaising with Customer Support and transport companies to arrange correct dispatches * Ensure all Warehouse activities are carried out according to company procedures * Adhere to all Quality and Health and Safety practices * Liaise with Warehouse Supervisor to raise any issues or improvements required * General housekeeping to ensure warehouse maintains a good standard of tidiness at all times Ensure Warehouse FLT’s are treated in accordance with procedures set out by the Company Stock Control: * Ensure that inventory is managed to the highest levels of accuracy including supporting Stock Takes * Management of data inputting on a bespoke stock system, stock checking, order picking and loading * Manage storage and rotation of raw materials to minimize external storage and disposal costs * Physical stock checks in the internal and external Warehouses * Carrying out cycle counts and audits as required Must hold a current FLT Licence (Reach Truck and Counterbalance) and have experience of stock control/stock management. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and have the ability to work in a fast paced environment. Must also have knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety regulations relating to Warehouses, ideally within a Manufacturing or Production environment.
