To be an integral part of our business process development and management. You will be working on a variety of process improvement tasks and projects and will work on the end to end cycle from understanding and gathering requirements and issues, formal documentation through to support for implementation and training.
Core Duties
Support the Operations Change Manager to map existing business processes
Be involved in relevant projects across the business to ensure all new processes are mapped, existing business process are kept up to date and impacts are considered as new systems and processes are being developed
Engage with key stakeholders throughout group support and operations to understand needs
Lead or participate in small workshops or information gathering sessions to gather intelligence around process and business challenges
Create process plans that contain project goals, milestones, and resources
Develop a good understanding of business process across the business and how processes impact each other
Carry out analysis of current business processes and identify opportunities for enhancement
Develop innovative solutions to improve efficiency of day to day processes
Create solutions with a positive attitude to change whilst remaining responsive to business need
Develop policies, procedures and supporting documentation to support new and updated processes
Review effectiveness of active process improvement initiatives and make useful recommendations on further improvements
Help to develop and embed standardised process structure and governance across the business
Knowledge & Experience:
Previous experience of creating or working with process maps
Proficient in MS Office, particularly Visio, Word & Excel
Previous experience within health and/or social care sector
Involvement in or co-ordination of project work
Skill & Abilities:
Logical and Methodical way of working, with excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Strong communication (in person, by telephone and in emails) and influencing skills with the ability to interact across all levels of management
High level of attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Commercial awareness
National travel and overnight stays may be required as part of your role in line with business needs
