Space & Occupancy Planner - Basildon, Essex - £50k plus benefitsOpportunity to join a leading Facilities Management service provider in a role covering an EMEA property portfolio. We are seeking an experienced Space/Occupancy/MAC Planner to join a well established, supportive team to work on varied projects that will allow for travel if desired.Overview of the role:To manage the capacity and demand of the client’s portfolio of space across EMEA. Develop planning scenarios and optimization initiatives and assist in the development of correct space data. Work closely with the Real Estate Director and business units on the implementation of housing strategies, Strategic planning, and Interior design. Workplace Consultancy, Change Management, Project Management. Drive integration with Facility Management, Project Management and Real Estate Transaction services.Main Responsibilities:Specifically, the responsibilities include:• Assist the delivery of occupancy planning services in a manner consistent with the policies, procedures, processes and protocols• Facilitate necessary communication between the Real Estate director, Occupancy Planning, Facilities Management, Project Management and Transactions Management.• Develop planning recommendations that are aligned with corporate guidelines and scenarios that maximize use of space• Design, workplace consultancy - produce design drawings and recommendations• Produce mobility studies, utilization studies, workplace standards,• Project Management, Change Management, Program Management, - conducting RFP’s as well as cost Management• Full understanding of laws and regulations regarding office design/planning• Recommendations for consolidation• Coordinate development of building-specific stacking and blocking plans, migration plans, test-fits, and sequencing of departmental moves/relocations with the local site team;• Organise and conduct routine briefings with the Real Estate Director, Facility Management, Project Management and Transactions Management to outline and co-ordinate planning related activities;• Educate local contacts on occupancy planning and space policies, procedures, processes, and protocolsWhat we are looking for:• Experience in space planning, occupancy planning, MAC• Excellent Leadership skills.• Excellent communication skills• Fluent in English. Other languages are desirable but not essential• Speed and experience of AutoCAD, CAFM tools, advanced MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint• Full understanding of relevant UK laws around workplace solutionsIn return you will join a truly inclusive culture, where the provider and client relationship is well embedded and fully collaborative
