Description

Express Recruitment is working alongside one of East Midlands leading precision engineering companies who produce parts for large blue-chip clients within the aerospace industry.

Due to continued growth and an expanding order book our client is on the hunt for a talented CNC Setter Operator who has experience operating Heidenhain and Fanuc controlled machines.

Roles & Responsibilities

Oversee daily machinery setup to ensure materials can be loaded safely into the machine
Operate and maintain precision turning & milling machines for small batch work
Cut, grind and drill materials in line with customer specification
Set the machine cutting speed to the correct tolerance for selected products
Check that finished products meet quality and technical standards

Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience with Heidenhain & Fanuc controlled machinery
Experience operating 3 & 5 Axis machines
Aerospace industry experience desirable but not essential
Happy to take overtime during peak business periods
CNC Machining, setting and operating experience
