Derby City Council's Staying Together Team are looking to recruit a worker to work intensively with young people.

The Staying Together Team uses evidence-based interventions with young people and families who have been assessed as being at risk of breakdown.

You will be joining an existing team of experienced Children's Practitioners.
You will be delivering planned interventions around addressing specific risk and developing resilience with the young person. Ideally you will be confident and creative in pulling together one to one interventions.

This post will not involve case holding and will generally mean working alongside an identified member of the Staying Together Team supporting their intervention plan.

It will focus on direct work and engaging hard to reach young people who have experienced multiple adverse childhood experiences.

Ideally you will have some experience of working with hard-to-reach young people and of working in a multi-agency setting and have a level 2 NVQ qualification in a relevant area and at least a Grade C GCSE in English or equivalent.

Other responsibilities will include:

Maintaining accurate recording on internal record keeping systems
Where needed attending and contributing to review meetings (TAF, Network Meetings, ICPC, RCPC and CRE review meetings)
