Description

Our client, an award-winning international communications agency based in the West End, has an opening for an experienced Commercial Finance Manager to join their team.

As the Commercial Finance Manager reporting into the CFO you will be responsible for working across all the international existing business divisions to deliver full-service finance support, reporting and leadership as well as support the agencies acrossits further international expansion.

Responsibilities:

Leading and managing a finance team of 2 direct reports
Manage all daytoday accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition
Support the senior team with setting the financial strategy and decisionmaking process
Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, report variances and recommend actions.
Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
Creating regular and ad hoc reports (annually and monthly) which identified results, trends and forecasts
Coordinate with local advisors the preparation of regulatory reporting including dealing with the auditors and preparation of financial accounts
Research technical accounting issues for compliance
Support monthend and yearend close process
Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting. Document business processes and accounting policies to maintain internal controls whilst continually seeking process improvement and efficiencies
Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

Professional qualifications / experience

Ideally you will be ACCA/ACA qualified with 4 years PQE with previous experience working within the marcomms / media / PR agency industry and a proven knowledge of accounting principles and procedures with experience with creating financial statements.

Knowledgeof accounting standards applicable to Singapore and USA is ideal.

Previous knowledge of Paprika software and being proficient excel user who is comfortable with analysing large data sets is also a plus.
