Berry Recruitment are assisting an employee-focused, plant equipment hire company to recruit a Depot Foreman for their site in Avonmouth, Bristol.


Depot Foreman duties will include:

  • Manage and motivate a team of depot workshop engineers, depot yard personnel and field service engineers
  • Manage the day to day activities of the yard by planning, prioritising and scheduling the day to day work
  • Ensuring all plant equipment is efficiently prepared for hire
  • Ensuring compliance and health & safety standards are adhered to
  • Train, mentor and motivate staff

Experience:


  • Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of industry standards and practices and have technical product knowledge
  • Previous experience of managing and motivating a team
  • Previous experience of building professional relationships with suppliers and customers
  • Previous experience in the plant hire industry

Essential Qualifications/ Knowledge:

  • IOSH Managing Safety
  • Manual Handling
  • Technical expertise
  • People Management
